Nigeria’s indigenous gas distributor, Falcon Corporation Limited, has received a Long Service Partnership Award from NNPC Gas Marketing Limited in recognition of more than two decades of collaboration to support natural gas supply and utilisation in the country’s industrial sector.

The award recognises a partnership built on reliability, operational excellence, safety and a shared commitment to expanding natural gas utilisation among Nigerian industries.

Falcon Corporation Limited (FCL), one of Nigeria’s leading indigenous natural gas distribution companies, received the award from NNPC Gas Marketing Limited (NGML), its principal gas supply partner.

The recognition also builds on Falcon’s previous acknowledgement by NGML as one of its leading customers, reflecting the company’s sustained performance throughout the longstanding business relationship.

Presenting the award on behalf of NGML Managing Director, Declan Nwokoro, the company’s Deputy Manager, Marketing and Market Expansion, South-West Zone, Engr. Peter Kwaji, said Falcon had remained a dependable partner for more than 20 years.

He attributed the longevity of the relationship to Falcon’s consistent performance, transparency, accountability, professionalism and commitment to safety and the growth of gas utilisation.

“For over two decades, Falcon Corporation has been a dependable and forward-looking partner,” Nwokoro said through his representative.

He added that the award recognised a partnership that had delivered tangible value to both organisations, expressing confidence in further collaboration and business growth.

Receiving the award on behalf of Falcon Corporation, its Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Mrs Audrey Joe-Ezigbo, expressed appreciation to NGML for its support and continued confidence in the company.

She said sustaining a business relationship for more than two decades required commitment from both organisations, as well as the contributions of the people responsible for its success.

“We are deeply honoured by this recognition. No partnership endures for over 20 years without commitment on both sides, and we thank NGML for the support, confidence and collaboration that have helped our partnership and our business thrive,” Joe-Ezigbo said.

She noted that the award reflected the collective efforts of both companies and their employees in maintaining a relationship centred on reliability, service delivery and shared business objectives.

Joe-Ezigbo also emphasised the broader economic importance of natural gas, describing Falcon’s investments and operations as part of a wider contribution to Nigeria’s industrial development and energy security.

“At Falcon, we regard our gas footprint and investments as a national service first. Gas is central to Nigeria’s industrial growth, energy security and prosperity,” she said.

She added that Falcon would continue working with NGML to expand gas utilisation and strengthen Nigeria’s gas industry for the benefit of businesses, communities and the wider economy.

The partnership comes against the backdrop of Nigeria’s efforts to harness its substantial natural gas resources to support industrial production, improve energy supply and diversify economic activity.

Reliable gas supply remains important to manufacturers and other industrial users seeking dependable energy for production, while the development of gas distribution infrastructure is central to connecting available resources with commercial and industrial demand.

For Falcon and NGML, the award marks a milestone in a relationship that both companies say has created value through sustained cooperation.

Falcon expressed appreciation to NGML and other stakeholders who have contributed to the partnership, reaffirming its commitment to reliable service delivery and the continued development of Nigeria’s domestic gas market.
