The management of the National Youth Service Corps ( NYSC) said that it has secured the release of one corp member among those female Corp members kidnapped in Zamfara State through the help of security agencies
The female Prospective Corps Member abducted was released on Friday, 20th October 2023, at about 12.30 pm, out of the seven in captivity and the bus driver.
According to the Director, Press and Public Relations, Eddy Megwa, in a press statement on Saturday, said the Scheme is confident that with the combined efforts of security agencies, the remaining will be released.
“As Management admonishes Corps Members and prospective ones alike always to prioritise their personal security; the Scheme shall never shirk its responsibility of upholding the security and welfare of Corps Members at all times.”
