On Monday, Dr. Aminu Maida received the Swedish Ambassador to Nigeria, Her Excellency, Annika Hahn-Englund who reiterated the commitment of the Embassy to boost existing relationship with Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC)
The Swedish Ambassador made this assurance when she the NCC ‘s chief she paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Abuja
During the visit, Dr. Maida and the Swedish Ambassador discussed ongoing areas of partnership between the Commission and Sweden, especially with regards to capacity building and skills development.
Dr. Maida used the opportunity of Ambassador Hahn-Englund’s visit to highlight that the Knowledge Pillar of the Honourable Minister of Communication, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani’s Strategic Blueprint for the industry was bolstered through opportunities for staff of the Commission to exchange best practices from their Swedish counterparts.
However, H.E. Hahn-Englund reiterated the Swedish Embassy’s unflinching commitment to boost existing relationship, adding that both Nigeria and Sweden have a lot to gain in the diplomatic and economic relationships.
