The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission NERC has invited the Customers of Eko Distribution to a 3-day interactive meeting which will serve as a Town Hall meeting and Complaints Resolution Forum.
According to a statement placed on the agency’s Twitter handle, the meeting would hold from the 10th till 12th of May, 2022, and its venue would be the Golden Tulip Hotel, Festac Town, Lagos. The meeting would be conveyed between the hours of 10 am to 4 pm each day.
NERC stated that a complaints resolution meeting is part of the Commission’s initiatives to ensure that electricity customers receive quality service from their service provider through an amicable resolution of grievances between parties.
“However, a town hall meeting will deliberate on achieving progressive improvement in the quality-of-service delivery.”
Those expected at the Town Hall meeting that runs simultaneously with complaints resolution proceedings include consumer advocacy groups, electricity customers of the Eko Disco and other industry stakeholders.
Electricity customers are advised to come to the meeting venue with their complaints and relevant documents to support their claims.
