Kogi State Commissioner for Education described the commissioning of the school as the biggest event in the State in five years

More accolades continue to pour in for the promoter of BrightHouse Academy, as the facility was officially declared open on Saturday, by the Kogi State Commission for Education, Wemi Jones.

The honorable commissioner for Education described the commissioning of Brighthouse Academy as the biggest event in his almost 5 years in office.

The school, built by OLADELE OYELOLA Foundation, was officially opened in a ceremony attended by various dignitaries in Ayetoro Gbede, Ijumu LGA of Kogi State.

Hon. Wemi Jones expressed his gratitude to the Oyelola family for establishing the tuition-free school, stating that it was unprecedented in the history of Kogi State. He commended the founder for not only establishing the academy but also for situating it in the community.

The founder of Oladele Oyelola Foundation, Chief OLADELE OYELOLA, expressed his commitment to contributing to humanity and impacting lives, especially during these critical times. He thanked everyone who attended the opening ceremony and reiterated his dedication to the success and progress of Brighthouse Academy.

Hon. Arch. Salman Idris, the Member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu federal constituency, also appreciated the Oyelola family for their generosity and foresight in establishing the school. Other dignitaries present at the event included Hon. Nathanel Ojo TAIWO, Hon. Ibrahim Haruna, Hon. Bode Adeyemi, Hon. Juwon Olorunipa, and Hon. Yori Afolabi.

The commissioning of Brighthouse Academy marked a significant milestone in the educational landscape of Kogi State, with the school poised to make a lasting impact on the lives of students and the community at large.

Praising the foresight of the promoter a prominent indigene of the community, Rev  Kehinde  Bello,

Way back from the famous AAAMCO, stated that the promoter of  the school , mr. Oladele Oyelola has  always stood shoulder higher than all  his contemporaries.

BrightHouse Academy  is the never-like-it Project in the annals of the history of Ayetoro Gbede, Ijumu LGA, Kogi State, Nigeria.”

Also speaking in the same vein, DR Bello Charles Kolawole, said

He was thrilled and rejoice with  Chief Oladel Oyelola on the impressive delivery of state of art educational facility to our people.

“This important milestone reminded me of the nostalgia days of your student unionism support when I was president of Ayetoro Gbede and Ijumu Students Union in the ’90s

The massive investment is a great step that could reshape the economic trajectory and future of an average Okun children.

 

It would be inspiring to see BrightHouse Academy transition to tertiary education(university) in the nearest future.”
