Let’s Unite To Move Epe Kingdom Forward–Royal Father

 

********* As Club Seventies Epe welcomes Royal fathers

 

In fostering community development and growth, the Prime Minister of Epe Kingdom, popularly known as the Mogaji-Geri of Epeland, Chief Adio Oduola has urged members of Club Seventies Epe to uphold Accountability, Unity, Transparency and be great ambassadors of Epe community.

The Club’s Publicity Secretary, Azeez Sanuth disclosed in a statement that Oduola gave the advised during an unscheduled courtesy visit to the club’s house with the Otun Balogun of Epe Kingdom, High Chief Olawale Mogaji, Iposu of Lagos, Omooye Al-Bashir Mogaji, and Dr. Hassan Sanuth.

The statement said that it was indeed a memorable session at the Club House when these personalities visited after the club’s September General Meeting and tasked the club on peaceful coexistence, unity and community development.

The Prime  Minister of Epe Kingdom (Alh. Chief Adio Oduola) commended the club for their commitment, dedication and selfless service to the growth and development of the Epe community.

He advised that the development and unity of the community should remain paramount in the minds of every club’s members.

Oduola said that there is a need for Club Seventies Epe to collaborate more with other clubs and stakeholders for the benefit of the people.

“The Club should work together to ensure that there is unity, growth and development in Epe communities.

“Club Seventies Epe should not relent in contributing their quotas to the growth and development to the communities as part of your Corporate Social Responsibility.

” Everyone should uphold unity. You should demonstrate leadership and work together to make this happen,” he added

Oduola prayed for members of the club and emphasised three critical areas that is very key to social gathering; Accountability, Transparency and Truthfulness.

He noted that some of the club members will no doubt make the list of Ogunmodede Club, one of the foremost indigenous clubs in the nearest future.

He admonished love and brotherhood to all members

Also speaking, the Otun Balogun of Epe Kingdom, High Chief Olawale Mogaji, according to him, ‘I cannot but appreciate you all for the warm reception even despite that it is an unscheduled visit,’ he thanked the leadership of the club.

He noted that the club is an extention of his brothers and acquitances

He point out in clear terms that the bright potential of the club is not in doubt considering the calibres of its members.

He advised that the membership of the club as usual be streamlined to people of good virtue like what they have currently that ‘the more the merrier.

He stressed the need for social interaction, clubbing as a major means to reach out, unbound, and contribute back to the society.

He promised to support the club in the infrastructural development of  it’s intended club house.

Dr Hassan Sanuth, who accompanied the Prime Minister, lauded the Club’s commitment to humanitarian service and community development performance,  while prayed fervently for the unity, and prosperity of all members of the club.

 

In his remarks, the Club’s President,  MD Adelaja Haasan appreciated the prime minister and his entourage for their overwhelming support and word of advised to the club.

Hassan reiterated that the visit of our fathers to the club was a morale booster to the club members, adding that this will also encourage members to impacted more to community development.

He, therefore, appeal to the royal fathers to support the club in achieving its projects towards development of the community and youth empowerment.

 

The immediate past president, Mr. Ibrahim  Sanuth expressed the Club’s appreciation and thanked all the guests for the visit, noting that members will continue to be good ambassador of the community and Lagos at large.
