Former Imo Gov, Okorocha, now quest of EfCC over money laundering

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Tuesday arrested the former Imo state governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, over alleged money laundering.
Okorocha was arrested in his office.
“Okorocha has been arrested by our men”, he said in a telephone chat, according to a report by the Lagos-based Vanguard newspaper.
Confirming the arrest, the spokesperson for the commission, Wilson Uwujaren, said that the news was true.

Loud in Lagos again as many feared injured in gas explosion
Many people are feared injured in a gas explosion in the Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State.
The incident, it  was gathered, occurred at Iyasoko Street Agboju, Amuwo-Odofin.

The unfortunate incident it was learnt happened around 7pm that the incident happened around 7pm.
Spokesman of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Nosa Okunbor, confirmed the explosion.
He said team members deployed were on their way to the site of incident.
