FirstLove Assembly Unveils Dakuku Peterside, RSU Vice-Chancellor as Speakers for 2026 Faith Conference

FirstLove Assembly, Rukpokwu, Port Harcourt, has announced an impressive lineup of keynote speakers for its 2026 Annual Faith Conference and 13th Anniversary Leadership and Business Session, scheduled to take place from August 12 to 16, 2026, in Rivers State.
The five-day conference will bring together church leaders, entrepreneurs, academics and professionals for a programme focused on faith, leadership, entrepreneurship and personal development.
Leading the lineup is former Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Dakuku Peterside, who will deliver the keynote address on leadership and public service.
Peterside, a leadership coach, management consultant and author of Leading in a Storm and Strategic Turnaround, will speak on “The Ten Greatest Leadership Lessons I Learnt From Public Service — And Why Every Entrepreneur Should Know Them.”
Focus on Leadership and Business Development
Joining Peterside as keynote speakers are Vice-Chancellor of Rivers State University, Prof. Isaac Zeb-Obipi, a respected leadership scholar, and Mrs. Tina Osuji, Chief Executive Officer of Tico’s Kitchen, who will share practical insights on entrepreneurship, innovation and business growth.
According to the organisers, the conference will officially open at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12, while the following three mornings will feature dedicated sessions on leadership, enterprise, career advancement and business development.
The organisers said the sessions are designed to equip participants with practical skills, strengthen leadership capacity and inspire greater excellence in their professional and personal lives.
Networking Initiative to Connect Professionals
A major feature of this year’s conference is “The Exchanges,” a structured networking platform designed to connect participants from diverse industries and professional backgrounds.
Organisers said the initiative will provide opportunities for attendees to build strategic relationships, exchange ideas, explore collaborations and access career and business opportunities beyond the conference.
Hundreds of participants from across Nigeria are expected to attend the event.

In a joint statement signed by the Resident Pastor of FirstLove Assembly, Rukpokwu, Pastor Alfred James Abu, and the Chairman of the Organising Committee, Dr. Boma Waribor, MNIPR, the church described the conference as marking “a prophetic season of new beginnings” for the congregation.
According to the statement, the event is structured to equip participants for “higher service” through spiritual empowerment and practical leadership development.
