Audrey Joe-Ezigbo, Chief Executive Officer of Falcon Corporation, will participate as a keynote industry speaker at the 25th edition of NOG Energy Week 2026 scheduled to hold in Abuja from July 5 to July 9, 2026.
Joe-Ezigbo is expected to join global and regional energy leaders on a strategic panel discussing “Realising Future Gas Economies – Building Secure, Integrated and Globally Competitive Hubs,” a session focused on Africa’s evolving gas economy, infrastructure expansion, and long-term industrial competitiveness.
The conference comes as African countries increasingly position natural gas as a transition fuel capable of supporting industrialisation, power generation, manufacturing growth, and regional energy integration amid global energy security concerns.
Drawing from more than three decades of experience across Nigeria’s and the international gas industry, Joe-Ezigbo is expected to contribute perspectives on midstream infrastructure development, gas commercialisation, regional market integration, and investment frameworks required to strengthen Africa’s gas value chain.
Speaking ahead of the conference, she said the future of Africa’s gas sector would depend on the continent’s ability to build integrated and commercially viable gas ecosystems capable of driving industrial growth and attracting long-term investment.
According to her, the conversation around Africa’s energy future has shifted beyond resource availability to creating secure, resilient, and globally competitive gas markets that can deliver sustainable economic value.
Joe-Ezigbo also described NOG Energy Week as an important platform for advancing discussions around infrastructure expansion, local content development, and practical energy solutions aligned with Africa’s economic realities.
Under her leadership, Falcon Corporation has expanded its footprint across Nigeria’s gas distribution, LPG storage, and energy infrastructure segments, positioning the company among the country’s leading indigenous gas-focused firms.
She previously made history as the first female president of the Nigerian Gas Association and currently serves in advocacy and leadership roles within the International Gas Union, where she has championed policies supporting energy security, gas utilisation, and sustainable industrial development across Africa.
