The Board of Trustees of the Apostolic Faith Church, West and Central Africa  District (WECA), has renewed the appointment of  Barrister Paul Ajetunmobi as a Member of the Board of Trustees of Crawford University for a second and final term of five years.

The renewal, according to the institution, is in recognition of his sterling leadership qualities, Christian virtues, and his impressive performance during his first term of service toward advancing the mission and vision of Crawford University, ending in September 2026.

According to the institution in the letter renewing his appointment, it states, as a returning member, he will continue to exercise the statutory functions of the Board of Trustees, which include:

1. ensuring adequate financial provision and endowment for the University;

2. determining the limits of financial expenditure of the Governing Council;

3. considering and approving the award of contracts beyond the financial limits of the

Governing Council;

4. formulating and approving policies and setting goals for the sound development and

operation of the University;

5. approving recommendations from Council on strategic direction and general

development policies;

6. appointing the Chancellor, Pro-Chancellor, and other external members of the

Governing Council and determining their conditions of service;

7. appointing the Vice-Chancellor on the recommendation of the Governing Council;

8. receiving and considering annual activity reports and audited financial statements

submitted by Council;

9. ensuring sustainable funding through gifts, bequests, donations, and endowments;

10.making policies that facilitate and enhance the objectives of the University;

11.empowering the Vice-Chancellor as Chief Executive to run the University professionally

without undue external interference; and

12.appointing External Auditors to audit the financial transactions of the University.
